Carolina Reaper Jam

Carolina Reaper Jam, made from the ‘World’s Hottest Chillies’ (The Carolina Reaper), couples intense chilli flavour with serious heat! Use it in place of regular jam on crumpets, cheese on toast, tea cakes, scones, pancakes and of course ice cream. Do you know a chilli lover with a sweet tooth? This Reaper Chilli Jam is the ideal chilli fix for them. Other suggested uses for this chilli jam include cheese crackers and Victoria sponge. The Carolina Reaper initially took the top spot for World’s Hottest Chilli in 2013, awarded by Guinness World Records. However, because of recent attempts to beat the record, the developer (Smokin’ Ed’ of Puckerbutt Pepper Company) applied to have the Carolina Reaper retested as world’s hottest. This has resulted in a brand new record for the chilli – now sitting at 1.6m SHU (Scoville Heat Units) and it’s peak heat rating of 2.2m SHU.
