Why Rwanda?

The UK’s climate poses challenges for consistent chilli production, especially for varieties that demand long growing seasons and high heat. That’s why we’ve forged long-term partnerships with farmers in Rwanda, where the sun-soaked hills and fertile volcanic soil provide the perfect conditions for growing premium chillies all year round.

From these fields, we harvest ripened chillies bursting with colour and flavour — the kind that simply can’t be replicated in greenhouse conditions.

We Grow What We Use

Unlike many hot sauce brands that rely on bulk commodity imports, we go a step further. Through our farms in Rwanda, we grow our own chillies. This means:
