As one of the world's oldest chilli peppers, the Jalapeno is found worldwide after being spread across the globe by the Spanish, who conquered Mexico from the indigenous Aztecs in the early 1500s.
The Jalapeno chilli, when dried and smoked, becomes the world-famous Chipotle Chilli Pepper.

Dispatch
We aim to dispatch all fresh chilli orders within 3-5 working days. Whilst delivery is usually quicker - within 1-2 working days, to keep our packhouse chillies as fresh as possible, we bring regular consignments from our farms, which, if delayed, can cause longer turnaround times.
All our chillies are dispatched on a next-day service to ensure optimal freshness. Once received, please refrigerate immediately and use/freeze within one week for optimal freshness.
Our Chilli Growing
To stabilise our fresh chilli growing, we grow our chillies in 4 countries - Rwanda (our main crop most of the year-round), the UK (July - October), Spain (Late August - January) and Holland (May - September).
