Genghis Khan Brain Chilli
Genghis Khan Brain Chilli is a little known chilli from Italy. Whilst it’s quite a fruity chilli it still packs a mega punch.
As with all our purees, this chilli puree contains over 60% chilli content. As a result, this puree is very hot (and very tasty!). It’s only other ingredients are cider vinegar and salt. As such this product can be used in place of fresh chilli both in cooking or to spice up condiments such as mayonaise.
The Genghis Khan Brain Chilli is an extremely hot pepper created and developed by the Italian growing organisation who are known as AIASP. Seeds were released to the public in 2015. Our plants grow to over 3 metres tall. As with the photo on the jar, the pods are quite large and knobbly, ripening from green to red. They have a fruity taste and because they’ve been tested to 1.4m scovilles, they rival most other superhots on heat.
